If you could choose one and only one game to buy on the 360 before the new year and you couldn't get any of the multi-platform titles on another console then which game would you get.

My choice is easy, Mass Effect all the way.

Bioshock looks promising...I hope they can run with the whole underwater theme...It could be really great or really bad...Im thinking Aquaman bad.

Call of Duty 4. Did you see the actual game play footage? The shadows and detail in that game looks amazing. The sniper part looked real!! Halo 3 looked good, but COD 4 hands down!

I was a huge fan of COD 1 & 2 so I'm going to go with COD 4. I'd probably cry if I could literally only pick one of those games though. So many good titles!

I had to vote Mass Effect, currently got ME and Halo 3 preordered. I'm not a huge Halo fan, never played much multi and whatnot, but I mean come on it is 360 how can you skip Halo 3!

I am also highly anticipating Timeshift, Two Worlds, CoD4, and potentially Medal of Honor Airborne. I am also excited to see more on End War and Conviction- I'm not a huge RTS fan since Starcraft got boring back in Middle School, and while I enjoyed the first Splinter Cell [i played] the last couple I tried were a complete disappointment. I always leave hope for Clancy games though because RB6:V is still hands down the best buy for 360 as far as I'm concerned.

CoD4 was the best looking title MSFT displayed on the floor. I was amazed at the leap that was made from CoD2 to CoD3 but CoD4 just blows it away. Halo could take a seat, it looked more of the same.

Its so hard to choose, but in the end. What Rock band will offer for ME....MAN i cant wait!

Honestly, the more I see of it, the less excited I become about halo3. Only 360 titles i'm excited about are bioshock and mass effect. Sony has the rest of my attention this fall

Halo 3. I was happy with H1 and H2. I fell for the hype with GoW so I'll wait and see for all those other titles.

Come on, 2 people picked Rock Band..I was really tempted to pick Rock Band, but I went with Mass Effect because I'm really starting to get anxious for a new RPG -- especially a sci-fi based RPG. That, and I'm still shredding my way through Guitar Hero II. (Perhaps 'shredding' isn't the right word. 'Bumbling' works better.)

Oops, I voted Halo 3 but I forgot about PGR4. Also, it would be tied for DiRT, which I already have.

I wanted to pick Rock Band, but there is no way on this Earth (or any other planet) that the wife is going to let me spend that much on a game.

So I chose GTA4. Hard choice between that, Mass Effect and COD4 though. They're all must haves.

I chose GT4 even though CoD4 really impressed me with it's photo realism. Looking for the H3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Too Human in 08 and Unreal Tourney in 08.

I'd say Unreal Tournament 3, but that won't be out until '08. For me its a toss up between Halo 3 and GTA4.

I'm not the biggest RPG fan but Mass Effect looks amazing...and a real time stealer. Just as exciting is Ace Combat 6. I'm a big fan of AC and I love flight in general. I applied for an officer position in the Air Force!

On my 360 (Yes I own one with about 40 games) I'm looking forward to Halo 3, if only for more split screen with mates.

Oh and Guitar Hero III - I refused to buy GHII on account of no wireless guitar (that and GHIII is due very soon).

Wow, so many that I will get no doubt. I will wait in line that night to get my Halo 3 preorder (Legendary edition, don't laugh...I can't help it), I can't wait to get my hands on Mass Effect, Bioshock looks amazing, the COD4 demo looks sick (in a good way of course), but I have to say Blue Dragon.

Been waiting for an FFVII-like experience for quite a while and have been watching BD's development since the original announcement was made in Japan. Just 1 more month...... (at least I have the demo until then)

I said Mass Effect. Bioshock is up there as well, but I might get it for PC instead. It's a tough choice.
