View Full Version : Phosphor Centering Template PJ Moore 07-12-07, 12:45 AM x newbieDAN 07-12-07, 01:49 AM Not to be a nit picker....Raster centering template.... thanks for the AutoCAD template, I've taken the liberty of exporting it as a full size PDF. Dan (fellow CAD user) Raster Centering Template (http://www.mediafire.com/?9yfd9o12xcx) rajdude 07-13-07, 10:13 AM So this is going to work only for AC (air coupled) PJs, right? IMHO....The LC PJs wont be able to use it nashou66 07-14-07, 12:57 AM If the inside box is the raster its too small and you should try to go out to about 3-4 mm from the edge of the tube face. i did this with mine and got a smidgen of more brightness . as long as the image not the raster isnt off the tube face your safe. My corners of the raster are actually just off the face of the tube. Athanasios newbieDAN 07-14-07, 09:38 AM I have always been told to never let the raster go outside the phosphor area as this increases the possibility of damaging the tube. Is this incorrect? NEVER let the active image area go off the tube face (phosphor area), the actual raster however, dependant on projector/tube configuration, can infact be off the tube face....but as a general rule, no...it's not incorrect. |
