In 2 weeks I will be on my way to Dearborn, Detroit. It is my first visit to the USA.

So, I am naturally looking for a place to buy cheap HD DVD.

I have no idea of which stores I can expect to carry HD DVD at good prices.

On the tour is something called "Fairline Shopping Center" (mall?). Maybe there is a shop there.

Is Walmart carrying HD DVD? and is there a Walmart in Dearborn??

Well I don't know about cheap but there is a Best Buy and Circuit City down the street from Fairlane Mall on Ford rd. Another Best Buy and a Target in Allen Park south of Dearborn....The closest Walmart that has HD DVDs is on West Rd. in Woodhaven.

There are also local ABC Warehouses in Metro Detroit that offer very good prices!

Print out the target HD-DVD listings, walk into BestBuy and tell the casheir to price match Target when checking out. Works every time for me.

Going to agree. There really aren't a lot of great choices in SE Michigan for HD DVD "deals" so your best bet may be to pricematch. I can count on one hand the number of HD DVDs I bought at Best Buy with fingers left to spare.

I'm curious to this too. I thought they just sold HD-DVD hardware.

Also try the local Gamestops and EB Games where people have traded in their BD's and HD-DVD's. They're currently running a buy-2-get-one free deal.
