Before 1.6 firmware upgrade to my XA2, The Matrix was really bad. But this fixed it. After 1.6 and 2.0, HD-DVDs were fixed, but some SD-DVD still have a bad lip-sync problem. This fixes all the lip-sync problems I threw at it. Of course, it only works with optical and /or coaxial. But if this is the way your audio set-up is and you are bothered by lip-sync problems, it will fix them. paintit77 07-13-07, 01:35 PM Both formats have chronic issues with Lip Sync! I can't understand why they don't do a better job of testing the disks. I beleive the major problem is the way the players utilize and load the info to memory. The problem isn't getting any better either. giggle 07-13-07, 03:22 PM Both formats have chronic issues with Lip Sync! I can't understand why they don't do a better job of testing the disks. Totaly agree, and I can't believe more people don't complain about this issue. I have noticed it on both formats but I have heard the most recent firmware has fixed this. egcarter 07-13-07, 06:33 PM Audio delay compensation facilities are built into most modern AV electronics. |
