I got a question. When playing a Blu-Ray, my volume is really low when playing them. I have to have my TV volume almost max, is this normal? Or is there a setting I can change?

I also have this problem... although I don't have to turn the volume to max, I do have to turn it up to about 35-45 (max setting is 100), whereas for normal TV (digital cable box) watching, I'm usually at about 15.

I'm connected directly to a Sony KDL-46V2500 via HDMI.

I haven't noticed if this is with the PS3 in general, or if it's only a Blu-ray thing, since I pretty much only use the PS3 as a Blu-ray player for now (at least until Ratchet & Clank comes out).

Anyone have any ideas about this?

While playing a movie press "triangle" on the remote or controller and look for a setting called something like "Volume Adjustment" you can increase that and see if it helps.
