I have a 42" Maxent plasma (42XM11). Recently I have noticed "noise" pixels on the screen. The pixels are red and appear at different places on the screen. Their placement appears to be random. They flash on the screen for a moment and then disappear. They are more apparent on in darker areas of the screen, but I would assume they are not limited to those areas. I'd say at a given time there must be at least 10-20 of the pixels on the screen.

I see the pixels regardless of the source, so I assume it is something on the monitors end.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this problem?

I am having a similar problem on my MX-42HPM20 model.

Have you resolved you problem? I would be curious to see what you determined.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. No effect on the problem. In either direction.

This is not a control adjustment issue. If it was the problem would be appear just by adjusting select controls.
