Anyone tried this cable? It's a 6-foot HDMI cable priced less than $1.

Link won't work. Just do a search for "HDMI cable" at Amazon; it's the first result for me here in the U.S.A.

It's got 118 5-star reviews (out of 146 reviews). But I can't help but be skeptical.

edit: the price went up. Now it's almost $2.

From what ive read, as long as its under 6ft it dosent make too much difference.

I bought quite a few cables from monoprice.com (look at banners at top of page), and have been really happy. I bought two or three hdmi/dvi cables, and a 25 foot dvi cable. they all work flawlessly, and because it's a digital signal, they work just as well as the really expensive ones. Horray for monoprice!!!!!!

I feel the same way for my tires....I buy them at the discount shop in town...I feel as long as I drive under 50MPH I am safe and they will work well

They were cheap but they are still good.....Good thing I put them on my Porsche...really limits my performance, but I did save $$$

Dude, learn about the topic before making a stupid post. monoprice 6 ft cable will work exactly the same as a $1,000,000 Ultra brand cable or monster or anyone for that matter. 1080p, 7.1 pcm and all.

I bought the 6 foot hdmi cables on amazon. I think they were like 1.50 or 2.00 at the time. I bought 4 of them, and they work great. Much better value than the $89 monster hdmi cable I bought (like an idiot).
