I have a MacPro and a couple of Monitors, my main one is a Cinema display which is very nice.. The problem is I am having issues with this:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=88343

After surfing the net or using a webpage I am working within final cut pro and I see this image persistance pop up and it is very annoying, so I am looking at other monitors within a reasonable price range of course, any suggestions? 22-24" widescreen that does at least 1920-1200, good refresh rate and hopefully won't have this same problem. My current less expensive Samsung SyncMaster doesn't have this issue but then again it does less resolution... Using a ATI Radeon X1900 so hopefully it can do these resolutions in dual screen mode.

I have the 24" LG (http://us.lge.com/products/model/detail/computer%20products_lcd%20monitors_windows%20vista%20certifi ed_L246WP-BN.jhtml). I guess I'm a sucker for good design--I think the Dell is rather ugly (and it had gone back up in price). It has just a 8 ms refresh, but, haven't seen any problems yet. It also is very bright, my 22" Apple Cinema looks brown by comparison. It has HDMI, which I plan on using with Gefen's Home Theater Scalar (http://www.gefen.com/kvm/product.jsp?prod_id=4174) so I can link up my DVHS deck, DVD player, Macs, and probably my cable box (w/ FW). (Now I just need to find a sufficiently long and strong arm for it.)

No need to wait. It's been on the Dell site for a few days now. Ready for instant gratification: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-5647

The 27" is also High Color in case you want a little larger size. :)

Thanks guys, very useful and helpful info!! My Apple display is sweet, just not happy with it in regards to the screen persistant issue which many LCD screens have...

Is it me or are these the same monitor? If so it looks like Costco has a pretty decent deal including shipping....

No, the new HC model is suppose to offer more colors and better HDCP support.

The 24"Dell from Costco can be had for $560 from Dell when it's on sale. Which happens every few weeks. I'm sure the HC model will go under $600 by Xmas or sooner.
