Hey, I am in the position of television buying and this will be my first HDTV. I was looking at Sony televisions and those include the A2000. A2020. And XBR2; all being 60 inches. I would like to know your preferences and any reason why you would choose one over another. Thanks!

How much of a difference is there between the XBR2 and the A2000?
The A2000 is a 2006 model, A2020 is the 2007 version, really the same tv other than cosmetics. If you look around you can have the A2020 for around 2k. I am not sure how much the XBR2 is going for. The cosmetics on the XBR's turns some people away due to the speakers. XBR comes with a spare bulb, and I believe it has a cablecard slot.

Which would you recommend though?
I have both the A2000 and the XBR2. I actually prefer the A2000. The XBR2 given the price differential didn't live up to my expectations. The XBR2 does have an extra, but higher wattage lamp, cablecard slot, and PIP (TwinView). The A2000 can be had with a great discount nowadays. The A2020 is the all black version of the A2000.
