Well I just ordered a G25 Steering Wheel from ShopRBC for local pickup, after I saw an incredible deal at $159 CDN!

Now....I know aesthetically this is much nicer than the Driving Force Pro....but will I run into compatibility issues compared to the DFP?

I think I read that the UK version of GTHD supports DFP, but not G25....does anyone know what this means exactly? And how should this steering wheel fare for GT4?

Did I make the right choice in purchasing this over the DFP?

All the games that support DFP support G25 to same extent. Im mean game will work, but you have put sifter into sequential mode and no clutch also(also it uses only one of the two motors). GT5 and maybe even GT5 prologue will support g25 fully.(there is just no reason not to; some other games already do)
go to www.gtplanet.net for more info.

PS: i have pal gt4 and g25 works nice with it.(just put steering assistance to off)

Awesome :)

Thanks for the reply.

Also, are there any games you'd really recommend for the G25? Or is GT4 as good as it gets right now?

PS2 has also other great simulation type game Entusia. http://www.konami.jp/gs/game/enthusia/eng/top/index.html
Graphics are good(not gt4 level though),but physics are better than gt4.

PS3:
For more arcade style NFS carbon(with full g25 support) is one alternative. I think Ridge racer 7 also supports g25 ,but the game might be better played with 6-axis.

If you have PC you can get nearly every racing game to work with g25 ,but the one that really showcases g25 is Live for speed, which has best simulation physics i have seen on racing game.(demo: http://www.lfs.net/ )
