Got this info from the hd dvd format blog (http://hddvdformat.blogspot.com/2007/07/weekly-roundup-july-14.html)... Do ensure that you have the latest firmware update installed.

Error Code 10 - No connection could be made to the server. Player is not connected to network. Ensure the player is properly connected to the network via the ethernet port found on the back of the player. Follow user manual's setup instructions for configuration of DHCP, DNC and proxy.

When I got error 10 it turned out I had a bad cat 5 cable. Replaced the ethernet cable and the web features worked fine.

I guess is does... But I have done all the firmware updates and the player is always connected to network.
I guess I'll re-check everything again, thanks everyone! - John

Make sure the DNS settings are correct. I was having problems for the longest time and thought everything was OK becuase it was receiving an IP address. Turned off DNS and then back on and things seemed to be fine.
