Hi All:

I have a new Hitachi 42HDX99 that has been working fine. I had to move it to do some work on the wall behind it. After I put it back, I started hearing dropouts and seeing video pixelations, sometimes (most of the time) they would happen at the same time, other times it would happen independently.

I've spoken with Tech support and they think it needs a software upgrade, maybe so but I'm thinking physical, either the tuner or something with the cable. I am connected to cable, no box, analog is fine, no issues, this only happens on the digital side of the cable.

The signal strength according to the TV is 86 and the SNR jumps all around. I 've seen it as low as 38 and as high as 60. I'm not sure if this is a percentage or DB.

Any help or experience would be greatly apprciated.

sounds like you need to check all of your connections......

Done that, even ran a cable all the way downstairs to where the cable came into the house.
