We know we got the specs for it but does it work and has it been done?

I've tried but the PS3 does not even recognize it.

No. It might possibly work (someday) under Linux. Is that what you're asking?

Most definately...Selling off my 360 and dont really want to stray to far away from HD-DVD and would like to keep the add-on...I figured a driver for LINUX would be had by now....

Would be cool one day as I want Universal titles. If they can get the add-on to work with lossless surround I'll definitely pick it up.

I got it to work on XP it went straight to the movie and it played flawlessly using Vista on my laptop so I can only imagine it being a matter of time especially the way Linux users love to hack and program weird stuff...Im hoping for the best.

While I am at it, the 360 vision cam works on the ps3 at least from what I had tried. I was curious though can you play eyetoy games using it?

You can get the standalone for not much more than the add on so that may be a consideration.

Pretty cool. I don't have a tv hooked up to my tv anymore so I wouldn't bother with PC but if/when they do figure it out and Universal is still HD DVD I'm likely to snag one of the good deals I see pop up frequently on craiglist.

No idea on the eyetoy stuff, I've never bought one for my 360 or PS3 or any games that would use it.

Why don't you guys just be smart and be patient? Universal will release Blu-Ray in the future. There's no doubt about it. Supporting HD-DVD is only prolonging this.
