According to the latest 1up Yours podcast (http://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3?http://zdmedia.vo.llnwd.net/o1/Podcasts/071307.mp3), Little Big Planet will be showing enemies for the first time at the upcoming TGS! Also revealed here: you can turn your levels into races complete with online leaderboards and moving objects can be designated as goals for the level to turn it into a chase.
Here's a great new video of LBP being demoed for GameSpot.

Some cool stuff shown:
- Levels can be made on 3 different "canvas" sizes. The largest is about 100x100 meters.
- Up to 8 players per level, 4 max per PS3 (probably, not 100% final).
- Players can create objects on their own, save them to their inventory, and them pull them out to use during multi-play.
- They show some simple robotic like creatures made using the game tools.
- The soundtrack can be tweaked and modified. They haven't decided about true custom soundtracks, i.e. using your own mp3s.
