I would like to see a two-disc set, non combo, with disc art. Disc one would be the film with TrueHD and IME. On this disc I'd like to see Optimus Prime primarily in the foreground (with perhaps other Autobots). Disc two is where all the extras would be, maybe even include the first cartoon episode that started it all, include photos from the set, the making of the movie documentary, the painstaking CGI, and a slew of other items -- and all in high definition (even 720p). On this disc I'd like to see Megatron primarily in the foreground (and perhaps other Decepticons).
I wonder if it's possible for the menu to morph/transform into some type of HUD, where you can also choose the sound of an Autobot or Decepticon transforming, or disable the audio all together? That would be cool. I'd also like to see web-enabled extras too. HD DVD Blogspot got me thinking... :)

I would like a two HD DVD disc version, one containing the original theatrical presentation, and the other being an extended edition. I read of one deleted scene that had Bumblebee scanning at the classic camaro. I'm hoping another deleted scene would be
Optimus Prime killing Barricade. I learned Prime does so in the comic book version but we don't see what happens to Barricade in the movie at all.
Has Paramount/DreamWorks ever released Combos?
Including the Transformers Movie is nice but if I could only pick one I definitely would rather see an UNRATED/Director's Cut HD DVD! Paramount/DreamWorks' releases (M:i-III, DreamGirls and upcoming Blades of Glory) have been amazing (IME, HD Extras) so I would be shocked if they don't match it.
I'm sure if it's a 2-Disc HD DVD, they will give us the Prime/Megatron art. I read the HD DVD Blog and agree that a Menu Soundtrack would be sweet.

Good point, I'd like that too.

Good call, I'd like that too.
so what you guys are basically saying is you'd like the transformers hd-dvd to have lossless audio, special features and disc art, and you'd like all of it to be as high quality as possible? ]
and, if i'm not mistaken, for it to feature an extended cut of that, by all accounts, does not appear to exist?

I would like a two HD DVD disc version, one containing the original theatrical presentation, and the other being an extended edition. How about one release with things seamlessly branched so that the user decides which version to watch, like AVP: Alien vs Predator on BD and some DVDs? Would you rather have one release where you get to choose after buying the movie (and can watch both), or two releases where you have to decide before buying (or buy both)? Transformers is big enough that they may stagger the releases like we saw with LOTR on DVD (first theatrical, then extended, then seamlessly branched with both).

I Think Many Of Us Want This One In Hd! :)
