Unlike ANY peripheral I have ever seen, the 360 HD-DVD add-on has USB connectors that are the same as the ones on a PC. Ummmm.....so which end of the cable goes where? Or do you need a USB cable that is the same on both ends??

Nevermind...........sigh..........bit more digging and I found out those are additional USB ports for acting like a USB hub.
