Hi everyone,
I got around to tweaking my system (it's been over a year since the last time) and will be going through the whole tweak process. Before doing my convergence again (I did this last night as it was bugging me) I wanted to ask a question about overscan.
Last year I used the Avia DVD to set the overscan to ~4%. When watching HD programming through Comcast on several channels the ticker or channel name is 1/2 cut off. That makes me think that the overscan is different among inputs. Is this correct?
Basically I want to know if I can have a setting for cable TV, and a separate setting for watching movies?
This is a 46" Hitachi F500 RPTV. Thanks.
justin
EDIT: Can someone give me the correct order for tweaking? I will be doing a manual and electric focus at some point but forget which should be done before the other. I assume the overscan should be performed first followed by the manual focus (or convergence, manual focus, then covergence again?).
