Going the cheapest won't always be the most viable options so plan ahead and research these forums before deciding on one just because its the cheapest. I've been keeping an eye out on the price for the past couple of weeks, and at the moment I'm seeing an average price of $740-760 after rebate. The cheaper ones have been from online companies I've not heard of without reviews. It is the ability to move (either through manual or remote controls) the image, horizontally and/or (usually and) vertically around so you do not need to place your projector exactly centred with your screen. Many LCD projectors have it, but few DLP projectors have it (and certainly none that are in this forum's price range). The few DLPs that I've read about that have lens shift only have vertical movement.
