I was going to post this in the sammy 1080p thread but I figure it's more general than that and might be useful to others. I have not set up all of my stuff yet, but I have a subwoofer that's absolutely earth shaking. I also have a Sammy 61" DLP (w/color wheel). Will loud, low bass affect my TV in a bad way any? I don't want to hurt my TV, but then again we all want big loud bass in our home theaters.

Over several years I have not had any problems.

If you have enough bass to shake framed photos off the wall, maybe try buying a sheet of rubber & sitting it under your tv?
