Is there a streamer that will play ISO files from a USB based hard drive? I had inquired about a year ago and couldn't find one, just wondering if anything has changed. Thanks

Yep , both the Mediagate MG-35 and MG-35HD do this... But...

1)The MG-35 will only do it as a SHARED drive plugged into a pc network - you cannot plug in the USB DIRECTLY to the MG-35 and then play from it.With the MG-35 USB is just used to "fill" the hard drive within the MG-35.Also HIGH BITRATE ISO's sometimes stutter, due to the network bandwidth not being enough - but usually play perfectly on "shrunk" isos.

2)The MG-350HD will play ISO both from a shared drive on a pc network and also if plugged DIRECTLY into the MG-350 itself via the 350's USB Host port..
As above there may be a few problems playing higher bit rate iso's esp if you intend to use the wireless on the 350.But I usually find any "shrunk" dvds play ok..

I myself, mostly use my 350 for playing Xvids , but can confirm all the above..

More details/questions can be had by visiting my Mediagate Yahoo support groups...
