I have a customer who has a room where the projector HAS to be about 22' away from his existing 104" diagonal screen. His current projector is WAY too dim and can't zoom down to fit the screen size.
I need a bright projector that can work on his existing screen size at 22'.
The JVC RS1 would probably be a good choice but 22' is probably too far for his screen, right?
The Sim2 C3X with a long throw lense is the obvious choice as a Sim2 dealer but he doesnt want to spend the money.
Any suggestions?

epson pro 810 can throw a 104" image from 23 ft away and has 1600 lumens.

Please send me an email to arrange paying me my portion of the install fee.

You need about a 2.9 or slightly longer. Not too many of those available without going into the higher price points. You might consider a Buhl Navitar "Screenstar" lens. These are relatively inexpensive (low to mid $1000 range), and will extend the throw of any projector.

This throw calculator (http://www.projectorcentral.com/projectors.cfm) shows only 3 models compatible with that setup. All Epsons, all a relatively bright 1600 lumens:
EMP-TW700 / PowerLite Pro Cinema 810 / PowerLite Pro Cinema 810 HQV.

If the client has one of those, the only 1080p option that is brighter and near the RS1's pricerange (including the lens mentioned above) is the 2500-lumen Optoma HD81LV.
