I just received my 2nd Linktheater DVD. Both are connected to my network, as is my 1Tera Terastation. Anyways, the new one, with firmware 13-82-060703-03-lt1-240-000. When I try and update the firmware, it says no updates available. I do this while bypassing my router, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Anyways, on the new LT, the menus are a bit messsed up, they go off the bottom of the screen, and on the frst page (video, picture, music), the yellow outline box is below the box it is supposed to be outlining. Also, which I think may be a source of the problem, in the uppe right corner of that screen, there is something like the following:
17/
>nsp&nsp.19:
37
on my old LT (FW 07-60-050609-02-lti-240-000) it gives the time and date, correctly in that corner.
So my questions are: Which, if either, has the latest firmware? If it's the new one, than I really don't want to upgrade the old one and have the same menu problem. How do I upgrade the firmware, does it only have to be connected to the 'net for the firmware updateto work? I really like these units, except for the screwed up menu on the new one. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Greg.
