What are you guys using for a 5.1 RCA switch. I have an HD-A1 now and just ordered a OPPO 970 for dvd-audio and sacd. I only have one set of 7.1 analog inputs on my receiver. I've been looking around for a few days now and can't find any. Am I going to have to build one?
Thanks
James

Two Radio Shack 15-1952 audio/video selectors. Lots of people have used them with excellent results.

This should work for 5.1

Thanks for the response guys. It looks like the Radio Shack option has changed. they replaced the 15-1952 with 15-1982. The Zektor switch looks awesome but too much moolah. :) I just can't justify spending more on a switch than I did on my HDDVD player and OPPO combined. I'll let you guys know which route I go. I'm still leaning towards building on myself. Any pointers I need to keep in mind?
Thx again
James

OK after reading about a thousand posts I decided to build my own switch. I go to You Do It electronics and buy all the parts needed. Well after getting 18 female RCA connectors, 3 4-pole switches, a project box, wire, and some misc. stuff It came in at just under 100 bucks. After sleeping on it, and reading some more posts. I found a philips automatic 4 to 1 component / stereo switch at walmart for $25. I'm gonna open it up tonight and see if I can remove the 75 ohm resistors I've read so much about on the component switches. I should have my OPPO in today. I'll let you guys know the verdict. It's getting easier and easier to justify a Zektor :rolleyes
Thanks

Thanks for the followup. It would be great to find an inexpensive six channel audio switch that works.

Anyone tried one of these Atlona switches for 5.1 analog audio?
http://www.lenexpo-electronics.com/Component-Video-Switcher-p-1-c-298.html
The AT-CW-41 ($79) has four sets of inputs (component video, L/R audio, digital audio) and IR remote.
The AT-ATSC41 ($99) also has four sets of inputs (component video, L/R audio, another video, and s-video). The six RCAs are all 75 ohms. This box auto selects the active input.
