I'm considering getting a
BIC H-100
but multiple people have mentioned the x-sub from av123
Is one truly significantly bette than the other?
Any feedback/opions would be greatly appreciated....
Thank in advance

I've never heard either, but if I was making this decision, I'd get the X-sub.
However, as is so often the case with their products, according to their website, the X-sub is back-ordered until September. If you can wait and you want one, I'd go ahead and get on the "waiting list" as they'll most likely sell-out very quickly (if they haven't already).

Between the two I would get the x-sub. cleaner, musical, accurate and it's georgeous (if that matters). It's not going to go as deep as the BIC but according to craigsub it's not like the BIC blows it away either. The bic is just a tad better on the low end, not significantly. I think its a testament to the quality of parts and research that av123 puts into the x-sub if its 8" driver can keep up with a 12" of the BIC.
Another sub to consider is the elemental designs subs. it would be my recommendation if you are only concerned with HT.
