I ordered a Panasonic PT-AX100U yesterday and expect to get it on Saturday. I was stuck between a HD-70 or HD1000U but chose the AX-100 mostly because of the great reviews and its ability of lens shift. the other two projectors would have displayed the picture too low on my wall since my ceiling is 8.5' tall. I also like the zoom feature on the AX-100 that allows for flexible placement of the projector further from the screen.

I will start by projecting on blank wall and then work on creating a framed space on the wall to display painted white or buy a drop down screen.

Anyone have any information on the screeens selling on ebay for about $200 after shipping. I can get 120" for $69 +$139 shipping or 124" for $89 plus shipping.

I can't wait!!! Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You'll like the projector the shipping on the screen is a gouge they usually ship for $30 or nothing. :) If you're getting a non tensioned pull down a Dalite mat white won't show waves when video is on it and coloring will be good, plus it's the cheapest out there.

I recommend going DIY on the screen if you plan to do fixed. You cannot beat the price and it works quite well. Check out the subforum on this site to see what other's have done.

You gotta love the ebay scammers.

They charge less for their product, then jack your wallet for the shipping and you're lucky to see the shipping before you have already committed for the purchase.

I think ebay has seen it's better days.

I'm seriously thinking about going with the Wilsonart Designer White DIY model.

Aren't all the shipping charges listed in the auction details? They always have been for all the ones I've seen.
