Ok, so we bought a 30" Insignia HDTV (Up to 1080i Res)
And it was on sale (On the floor - Demo TV if you want)
And the idiot part was we left with NO CONTROLLER
ok so I searched and read that Orion does most the parts for it.
So now my DTV controller works, but the problem is
HOW DO I BRING UP THE BLASTED MENU!?
It's annoying! Picture sucks, and the settings needa be adjusted big time.

Anyone have ANY info on what ta do?
Thanks anyone..

Is there any way to setup the picture to fix/adjust the picture?
Or is there any setup for it? Right now the left side of the screen the picture tends to go to the right, sort of like this but not that far /

Your best bet is to go find a Toshiba remote.

No, Toshiba remote will not work on the Insignia. Although both are made by Orion, they both use different remote codes.

Model number of the TV? You can correct some geometry problems through the service menu.*

*But BE CAREFUL!

Where would I find my Model Number at? Behind the TV? (I might have answered my own question)
I'll look it up and redit my post, or else double post.

NS-30HTV

Is what I found

I found my way into the Service menu, but I will wait till you or someone else answers, because I have no fragging clue at the the heck I am to do.
And ifI am sure about it, this TV has 59 settings in the Service Menu

Yeah, that's the model number. With the service menu, you can adjust the geometry to correct it for errors. Just write down the original values before you start playing with it though, in case it doesn't go well.

Alright!
Thanks man! I'll check it out sometime later this day. And report back

I'll bite - how did you access the service menu? I could never find mine, but it is easily accessible with the matching Insignia remote. Or, at least, I found a menu using the hidden buttons that allowed me to correct the horrendous overscan, and some of the geometry.

I'd be curious to see if the software-enabled service menu had any items different from the one I reached by dedicated buttons on the remote.
