I currently have a "Lane" Sofa/Loveseat setup with Aura Bass Shakers and an old 100 watt amp that I hooked up myself. They seem to work really well.

I'm looking at getting Berkline 078's and am wondering if it is worth getting the Buttkickers vs. Self-installing Aura Bass Shakers?

What is the difference between Buttkickers & Bass Shakers? From what I know, Shakers are like 25/50w each and someone told me Buttkickers are like 500w??

Are Buttkickers really just the same thing, just factory installed?

Is there an easy/effective way to hook up bass shakers to Berkline chairs?

Thanks!

John,
I have a pair of Buttkickers running on a 400w amp at 2ohms. They work Great. The Buttkickers are on a much larger scale than the bass shakers they can handle more power and no they are not just factory installed. I would like to try the bass shakers. The price tag on them are pretty good I guess because it seems like they are always back ordered . I saw them on ebay but I don't trust that auction site anymore.
