I have a 1252 that I can get a picture on from my DVD, SVIDEO, COMPOSITE is not
a problem but only green on RGB . I have plugged the svideo and composite from my computer as well as vga to RGB cable and get nothing , no input from all . I thought
that since these were made to project from computers it was pretty straight forword
to get a picture from the computer. The install says I should have 34-37 H in memory
block 4 but all I get is 15.7H and 50V I can't seem to change this figure . I'm at a loss
as to what to do . Any info would be greatly appreciated. As you may have guessed
I am very new to all of this

An all green picture means you are feeding the PJ YPrPb not RGB or the PJ thinks you are.

Are you selecting the RGB input on the projector keypad when using the RGB input? As Person99 says, the component output of a signal source is not the same as the RGB input of the projector. It does sound like you're feeding component to the projector.

The 12XX sets are very forgiving as to the type of signal going to the projector, so if you're not getting a signal, I'm pretty sure it would be incorrect wiring of the cable, a broken cable or a problem with the source itself. The chances of the RGB input dying on a Sony is possible, but I've never seen it happen, and I've had 100s of 12XX sets through here.

Cheers!

The only way to feed a Y Pr Pb component signal to the 1252 is with an IFB-12A input card. It doesn't sound like he's feeding RGBHV.
