Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me. i'm lookin for a 2.1 speaker system with a good subwoofer (heavy bass) and am looking to spend £150 ($300). Any reccomendations?

Walmart Has a Durabrand 5.1 speaker set HTIB Without DVD player for 59.99 and the sub has great Bass, which is unusual for the Price But hey Its Pretty Darn Bassy! and cheap!
I hope 28 Volume levels is enough for you Half way throuth and Its already neighbor Killing Bass.

(it will scare the cat too) I miss my cats we left them at the place we moved out of (outside of course)

Especially on the extensive collection of action Movies I have! The Family Dollar Has a similar System but its a 2.1 and has a Taller subwoofer. but your not In america so the Latter wouldnt apply to you

If you live in GB then your choices will be quite different that what we have here in the states. Our recommendations might not be available across the pond. There are a couple of boards that are frequented by brits, but I'm not supposed to attach a link to another board so I won't, but it is avforums.com.

Can you get a 2.1 for 300 dollars....Yes

You will be buying junk however....(Personal opinion).
