I am looking to spend about 700 give or take a 100 in either direction on a tv. I was wondering what you would suggest I look at? I am asking in regards to size and type.

I want the largest flat screen I can get up to 37"-42". This will be used for movies and heavy gaming by my nephew.

I would like a flat panel since they are more convenient in the limited space.

I have come across some 42" plasmas at costco and some vizio lcds.

Due too your nephew's heavy gamming, your best bet may be a LCD Vizio at Costco or Sams with their better than average return policy. I own a Vizio Galleria Model 42" Plasma and works like a champ!
