Can anyone with a developer copy of Leopard confirm whether or not the new DVD Player.app supports HD DVD playback from a device such as the Xbox360 HD DVD drive?

It looks like Apple will support both HD DVD and Blu-ray in the upcoming version: DVD player has been able to play HD-DVDs for a long time. Hopefully it will add HD-DVD support (while not requiring an Apple drive to work). The next question will be, how much CPU power is needed to play the high bitrate content on those disks? The formats support a few different codecs.. but, in actual practice which codec is used? High bitrate 1080p H.264 might be beyond the capabilities of a Mac Mini.
