Hi, I have a quick question about the DVI to HDMI cable. I try to connect my notebook to LCD TV with no success. My notebook comes with a DVI 25 pin connecter (dual link), however the DVI connecter of the DVI to HDMI cable, which I bought from mono price, only have 19 pins (single link). Is it true that I can not use the single link DVI to hdmi in a dual link connecter? How come mono price only since single link DVI to hdmi cable? Do you guys know where can I get the dual link DVI to hdmi cable?
thx

Even though your computer has a DVI 25 pin connector (dual link) socket, it's doubtful that the missing 6 center pins (data link 2 feed) missing from the Monoprice cable is the cause of your problems. It's more likely your computer's video card is set at a timing (something other than 60hz) or resolution your TV can't understand. Try other refresh rates and resolutions while connected to your TV... sometimes it's very hit-or-miss getting TV's to connect with computers.
Here's a excellent pinout description of the DVI connector (click on diagram for larger view): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:DVI_pinout.svg

HDMI is "single link" by definition. There are no dual link to HDMI cables because the extra dual link wires have nothing to connect to on the HDMI end.
