pretty old news here, Top Guns is already to include Lossless audio. Face/Off we're not sure on, the japanese copy has lossless but the american copy is supposed to have better pq. either way i will import if we dont get at least a dts 1.5M track.

we have read reports/posts that paramound will use bd50 discs and include lossless sound on all titles following Blades of Glory.

As it stands, Paramount's release of Face/Off will definitely not have a master quality audio track. Top Gun will have a 48 kHz/24-bit PCM track. The Jack Ryan movies will have PCM as well.

16 Blocks from Japan had better audio also, with PCM.

i wouldnt mind double dipping on mi3 if they drop a new release of it with avc and lossless.

Well, this thread got pushed to the 2nd page pretty quickly. I know this news has been rumored for a while, but isn't this the first official confirmation we've got, as well as the confirmation on what audio formats Paramount would be using?
