I have an interesting error on my marquee 8110 and I'd appreciate if somebody could help to debug.
A HV splitter failure resulted in arcing. I've replaced the splitter, arcing is gone, butsince then when I switch on the PJ, the H.fail led is come on for a sec during startup. All 3 guns are working, just no horizontal pin/convergence adjustment available on the green. The horizontal lines can not be corrected with pin or convergence, but vertical positioning and everything else works. Any idea what died in the arcing. Is there a schematics available?

Make sure that the white plastic strip that goes on the bottom of the heatsink on rear hinge cover is in place. If not, it can allow the soldered pins of the connectors to short, causing all kinds of deflection problems. In fact, try checking it with the rear hinged cover down.

If you're still having a problem, the schematics are around all over the place. If you can't find one, I have all the schematics, but the computer I keep all my manuals on crashed recently, so I would have to find where I put all my projector service manuals backups.
