Has anyone ever gotten thier pre-ordered movies earlier than the street release date?
I just pre-ordered 300 and I am hoping to get it earlier than Aug 2nd which is when amazon prime will get it to me once it ships on the street date.
What is your opinion? ALways on time, or ever a little early?

Mine usually arrive on the street date. I have Amazon prime. The movies ships to me on that Monday and 90% of the time I get them on that Tuesday. 10% of the time I get them on Wednesday.
Street date or the day after, never early. Ive heard members who ordered directly from Warner sometimes get titles early

Amazon has never been early even with being a prime member. Yes, Warner can be up to two weeks early but unfortunately "300" continues with status "In Process."

seems not even DVDPacific is shipping early this time around. i had Curse of the Golden Flowers and PoTC 1 & 2 ship a week early from them day after ordering. 300 i ordered on june 7th and still no word on shipping. it cost $27 plus $5 for priority mail so if it doesnt ship by end of wed i'll just cancel it and buy at a local store on day of release.

Some member mentioned DVDPacific was sending it out early but the expensive price made me hold off on its purchase
Where do you see if for $27 on dvdpacific (http://www.dvdpacific.com/item.asp?ID=808948)? I see it at $39.99 (Members Price $31.57) plus shipping....
