I heard the tools for creating profile 1.1 and 2.0 discs have been available for a while. Seeing as these profiles are backwards compatible with 1.0 players, when do you think discs supporting these enhanced features are gonna start coming out? Warner, for example, should stop holding back their PiP features from blu-ray when the tools to create them are available.

Does anyone have the specs on what exactly is included in profile 1.1 & 2.0?

Basically 1.1 is conformation to Picture in Picture ability(I.e. Dual AV Streams)
2.0 is conformation to mandatory Ethernet capabilities.

To the OP, the tools have indeed always been there. Its the hardware that is not up to date and/or able to handle these profiles.
