I have searched here and everywhere that I can think of and haven't found the answer. Maybe I don't know how to ask it. My problem is I have a mini that I want to use on my TV via the s-video adapter. I hooked up everything and it worked. It showed that I could select from 5 different resolutions. I was going through each one and select it and trying it out. Well I hit one that caused the screen to go all haywire and now it's stuck on that setting. I have tried to reset it, but I can't read anything while it's connected to the TV. I can connect it up to a monitor and it works fine. I have no idea how to reset it to one of the working settings. I have tried resetting the PMU, PRAM and other tips I found on the net and nothing is working. I feel there must be a simple way to tell it to use say 800x600 (which worked) by default. I thought that if I hook the mini up to a monitor that I could change it there, but I only see options for the current monitor (unless I missed something). Any help will be appreciated.

I figured it out. Hold down the shift key while restarting and it will rescan and set to what it thinks is the best resolution for the screen attached. Hope this helps someone out.
