Hmm, but the kitten has such a nice coating. They always land on their feet, never a scratch.

Although I voted puppy (as long as its v1.2a or above) its Favg (food average) and Cavg (crap average) are much greater at least for the given models.

They're both equally tender and delicious, so I support both.

BTW, before this thread gets locked, I would like to say that perhaps a humourous thread here and there would serve to remind us all to take a step back and realize that choosing BD or HD DVD is not really a life-and-death decision that must be defended at all costs.

You see, Greg, when you yell at a dog, his tail will go between his legs and cover his genitals, his ears will go down. A dog is very easy to break, but cats make you work for their affection. They don't sell out the way dogs do.

I heard that Blockbuster went Kitty exclusive, and there are rumors that Target may follow.

I heard that, due to their religious beliefs, Blockbuster neuters/spays all of its Kitties - if you want the "uncut" versions, you'll have to shop elsewhere.

I can't wait to hear from Amir and the other insiders to get the inside scoop on why Disney went Puppy only. It may be because puppy's larger size, but really, isn't kitty big enough for all our next generation needs?

you are forgetting about lions and tigers. although they are not really needed since normal sized kitties are good enough.

Probably not. Kitty is fine for now, but puppy is larger in size and can potentially meet the next generation needs better. It is man's best friend anyway.

I personally feel that the puppy has the best long-term benefits to the pet owner, even though the kitten may have short-term benefits now like using the litter box and eating on its own via an feeding timer.

But can you honestly say that the larger bite-size of a dog's jaw won't matter in the long run? We need to think 3-10 years out, not just about the immediate desire to have a low-maintence pet today.

While the Kitten requires lower maintenance, Puppy offers the most long term potential. There are also far more different types of Puppies on the market, to appeal to a broader audience. Puppy has my support, but I have also allowed Kitten in my house.

The problem with this poll is that there will likely be many voters who have never seen both Kitten or Puppy in action. They will simply follow suit with the majority, rather than make an informed decision, in this all inportant format war.

Admit it now: How many looked to see which color the kitten / puppy had in the poll (red / blue, respectively), to decide. :D

the kitten has a complete feature set form day one, a puppy still needs to have features added for total functionality.

+1 for kitten.

Puppy may or may not have those features added via shots. If it can't be fixed by shots, you'll have to replace puppy with a more full-featured puppy. All puppies born to date appear to be genetically defective! You can keep him, but don't be suprised when it starts having hip problems.

Some people have said that their kittys are tempermental, mine has been a fine lap cat since I got her over a year ago and she's not a finicky eater either. :D

Personally, I don't think that the litter-box add-on (without HDMI support) is really a top-end solution. I still say stick with the puppy.

Cats, Dogs are too high maintenance and the (un)load time is too long (and outside). Also I prefer cats higher bandwidth and "clean" coating.

Puppy, more user friendly. They will always play for you. Cats sometime don't want to play, so you're stuck figuring out what's wrong with the damn thing.

If this war goes on too long, people may eventually have to get birds instead.

Too bad your pet ownership rights can then fly out of the window.
