Newb question here!
I recently purchased all my speaker/coax/lan/HDMI/Component wall plates for my soon to be built home theatre room BUT, i was told that I will require a j-box or similar type of thing for each plate to support the unit.
What type of box would i need to install into the Steel framing for each plate for support?
Please provide link to product if possible
many thanks

A common solution is to use backless junction boxes. They nail to wood studs, or screw to metal framing, before the drywall stage. Carlon among others make them, for example: http://www.carlon.com/sd-cgi/hsrun.hse/CarlonCatalog/ProductCatalog/StateId/Rv_W_Er9ZH7JbpSPtPKiqDT-VU6P--4ZPu/HAHTpage/ProductCatalog.HsCARLONTemplateDisplay.run?CatalogObjectId=1 49
Another solution would be "mud rings" or similar old work backless devices. These can be installed after drywall, having left your cables neatly coiled in the right locations, if desired. This page has a bunch of these and some related low-voltage devices that can all accept 1-2 or more gang wall/keystone finish plates...(no connection with HomeTech, just a representative catalog page):

There are lots of variations on these but you'll get the idea: something that supports the wall plates but leaves the back open for proper bend radius, service loop, and easy termination is the ticket. (NB a very few jurisdictions require closed junction boxes for low voltage wiring but that is very rare).
