I was thinking about putting a Chicago Gaming Company Game into my home theatre but was concerned about people playing with game during movies. While I can shut the sound off, I'm concerned about the "click, click, click, click, click" from the buttons.

Would you happen to have any thoughts on this?

Set it up so the power is cut to the machines during a movie.

Or, tell people to kindly not play the games whiel a movie is on, and if they don't conply, kick them out of your house.....it is YOUR house, YOUR rules.

I have a pinball machine right behind my couch. My solution was to turn the volume WAY UP! It also helped to block out the pool table. With out the sound turned on, it's not really that loud.

I'd like to give people the option to play the game (so long as the buttons aren't too loud) during the movie, but I guess if a pinball machine isn't that disruptive, then I guess some button pushing should be OK.

All I have to do now is explain to the wife what a swell idea this is and I'll be all set!

Don't get me wrong. Listening to a pinball machine during quiet parts of a movie is less than ideal. It's just not as bad with the proper amount of wattage applied!

Ah, wattage. . .what can't it do?

This is what I do also, I have Galaga, Ms Pacman, Zaxxon, golden Tee, Millepede, and 2 pinballs so the options are to not use the game room (not a good option) or I just turn the volume up in the Theater, this is for casual party gatherings, now if I am sitting down to "Watch a Movie" then the games are off

All I have to do now is explain to the wife the inherent necessity for said gaming console and I'll be set!

Luckily, my arcade is a seperate room from the theater, so I do not have the problem of the machines interfering with the movie.

Check them out at: http://xy.tv/reedl/arcade.html

I just looked at those pics, I need to update them since I now have 13 pins instead of 10..

... And every machine is both my favorite (when it is working), and an absolute pain in the butt (when there is a problem, and I do not have the time to fix it.)

But enjoy going down there and whacking some moles when I need to get my agressions out..
