I was researching about digital cable tv frequencies and found a lot of info, but coundnt find anything regardind the frequency where more advanced opperations take place, for example in wich frequency the nagra keys are send to the user and so on.
Does anyone knows more about digital cable frequency charts?
What about head-hend service charts?

Most of the OOB control information is on carriers in the T band (5.75 to 53.75 MHz)

So all guides, nagra info, on demand infomercials are on the t band?
The T band is the return path, which does not carry the guide info, on-demand infomercials, etc. Those are system specific.

This is an american forum. Nagravision is used in europe isn't it? Not that this will do you any good, but for informational purposes only...
In the forward path for a Motorola MediaCipher system it hunts down the OOB authorization frequencies in this order:
75.25 MHz
104.20 MHz
72.75 MHz
92.25 MHz
98.25 MHz
103.75 MHz
107.25 MHz
107.40 MHz
110.25 MHz
116.25 MHz
In my area they use 104.20.
The upstream (return path) can be anywhere from 5-42 MHz. Mine is currently on 8.096 MHz.
Motorola systems communicate using the ALOHA protocol.
Scientific Atlanta PowerKey systems communicate using the DAVIC protocol. I do not know much about the SA PowerKey systems as mine is a Motorola.
