Ea closed the servers a long time ago. There is no next gen ssx yet. Is there anyway to play non split screen 2 player? Has anyone made a pc act like a fake ea server. Or any other solutions? Like Xlink Kai? Any suggestions? Anyone know of any SSX rumors. Hopefully, this winter.

Is it even possible to go online with PS2 games on your PS3? I tried downloading some of the extra camoflauge patterns in MGS3 while onto my PS3, but it needs that network configuration file. I had the network adapter for my PS2 and create s the online config file and stores it on your mem card. I doubt you would be able to play online even through xLink.

Yes it is. I played Phantasy Star Universe online with my PS3 just fine.

I played MGS 3 Subsistence online on my PS3. It worked out pretty well. I hear that the MGS servers are now closed. Glad that I got a chance to play it before it was to late.

I wish more games would setup a peer to peer connection for there online games so we have no need for other servers.

I remember reading that Call of Duty 3 ( or was it Battlefield ?) used peer to peer servers.

Peer to peer or at least lan. All games with mp should have a lan function. Are you listening EA? I miss ssx.
