Okay I have my PS3 wired to my router, my Xbox and PC are also wired to it. My family shares this network via Wifi laptops (4 of them).

I've noticed that every time I disconnect and reconnect to PSN it kicks me off MSN on my PC.

Also, I can't seem to even connect to PSN properly. Initally I was able to browse, and connect to PSN and review content to download. But as soon as I would try to download something I would get an error and get disconnected. I ran the network test and I failed playstation network and NAT. So I forwarded my ports, now I pass all the tests but I can't even connect to PSN at all anymore.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, sadly I'm about to head to work so I can't test anything for some time.

Thanks in advance.

Okay I figured out turning off uPnP stopped my network from restarting.

Forwarded my ports, gave me Nat 2 initially but now that I've turned off uPnP it seems that I've got back to Nat 3 :> But hey at least I can connect to PSN again.

Going to search around for a solution.

Okay, assigned my PS3 a specific IP and I got Nat 2. Think I'm good now. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
