best of 3 series playoff tournament consisting of the 4 best teams.


Rules are simple no cheesing or using any exploits. Created players are fine but they have height restrictions sorry this seems to be a big problem with the game online. So to keep it balanced lets keep it clean and fair guys..No linemen that are 6'6.

Created guys are fine just don't go ridiculous in their stats.

NFL or original teams are fine it will be defined by your gamertag so if we end up with 3 Dallas Gunslingers so be it.

Its a 16 game season with 1 game a week with flex scheduling so if you and your opponent for the week want to finish up a game on a Monday so be it. But use your free time with caution as you will be able to practice against your upcoming opponent using their VIP profile. So dont rush it, but we wont force times or dates as we all live busy lives.

Sign up here if you can commit to it and want to join, post your gamertag and I will send you an invite with the password into the league. The league needs 16 teams so we will need 16 people if you know people on your friends list who can abide by the civil rules of this league just let me know if we cant pull the initial 16 from AVS.

I'm interested but I do believe the league would have better results if 1/2 the teams could make the playoffs. Seems like quite a few people could be realistically eliminated before the halfway point of the season if only 4 get in.

Fair enough, I only did 4 because I figured 16 week seasons might be to long for some to wait. As long as the league hasnt started yet I can make adjustments and will adjust it to 8 teams then. If you want post your gamertag and I will send you an invite with a message containing the password to the league.

Ok I changed the league rules the playoffs will now consist of 8 teams and the championship is a best of 3.

Also for the guys joining the league remember to get a few RANKED online matches in so we have the ability to download our opponents VIP so we can practice and prepare for the upcoming game.

We still have more than 10 spots to fill so drop a line if you are interested. The sooner the better the league will run 16 games a full NFL season.

Alright I sent out invites for everybody along with the password. So far including myself we have 12 people these are not confirmed just the ones who have been sent out friend requests with the password. I might have to send out invites in the game since its private not sure but once you accept the friend request you will receive an invite regardless from APF for the AVS League.

Seems to be a problem with the server. I accepted your invite but still can't get in. Some others have posted this problem on the 2k website.

I play this game 5 days a week for about and hour or two a night. It is the only game I play. Don't worry about getting killed everygame. You will get better plus it is fun to play with guys who have similiar interest(avs) as you

You shouldnt get shutout like you would in other online football games I have yet to experience anything drastic like a 42-7 lead the worst so far was 21-7 which ended at 27-28...No blowouts, I just dont see how you can do that in this game if you arent smart enough the AI sure is...

It was, I dont think I got my passing off very well over you. Ever since I played you every game afterwards I have been in a slump. :( I messed around with my team a bit and their ratings are worst than before, although I made a lot of adjustments on defense...

The past few days I have been using my Gunslingers team and just noticed I put Deion as a wide receiver, no clue why I did that but now he is a silver star cornerback (like he should be) and he is deemed useless...Everyone likes to run inside or pass the ball long.

Haha yeah I am more trouble now on offense since I made some tweaks to the team. My defense is pretty strong, I like to think all around I am in pretty good shape but on the ratings I just dont match up like I use to. I got rid of a starred kicker and thats something I will never do again...My defense is weak against the run but since I can seem to score easier now I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

I cant wait to try out my new team lineup though, looking forward to playing you again perhaps in the league when it FINALLY starts.

Thanks on the uniform, I get a bunch of compliments on it. Theirs codes out their for it though or I can just post the one I used.


Also when it comes to the league we are only allowed to use one team throughout the season and not different ones to keep it balanced so for the people signed up get your team and roster in order. Also invite some of your friends if you wish so we can fill the remaining 5 or 6 spots up and get this league going.

Yeah I saw that and sent you another invite with a message with the password as well.

Ok all the invites have been sent after everyone accepts that leaves 3 or 4 spots to be filled.

2 more spots to the fill but I am still waiting on 2 more confirmations...We are almost ready to go. If anybody wants to jump in and still get in I can get the password/invite out to you ASAP.

I really apologize, I'm a 100% complete newb to any sort of online league and quite frankly I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing on that join league screen. I swear to god I'm not really this stupid.
