I want to know if anyone has ever done a test of both Monster DVI400 DVI-DVI cables vs the Dynex DX-DVI2M DV_DVI cables. What is the main differences between the two and say I have a Samsung Synchmaster 906BW (planning on 226BW shortly) with a GeForce FX 8500 graphics card, will I see a difference between the two cables in trying to get the best out of it? I know digital doesn't make a difference but thinks like minor crimps in the cables etc would I be happier with Monster?

If you like things that look pretty or just like paying more for things then you probably will be happier with Monster.
But there are plenty of tests out there (done by a thrid party not a cable manufacturers) and even more people on this board that pretty much proves that specially when it comes to digital like DVI/HDMI there is no difference in picture quality between Monster and any other lower cost well constructed cable.

Yeah I was just curious however I managed to be able to get both cables at the same price (unique circumstances and I'm sorry I know not to mention price ... so I won't) and I'll post the results of my series of tests including a double blind. I thought I noticed a change between the two but I really want to make sure.

Update:
I tested it and there appears to be marginal difference but I am happy but if you don't get a good price on the cables just go with Dynex or another brand that is affordable. Not much difference except for what a trained eye can see and even then it's hard without having them side-by-side.
