GAGA Communications Inc. will release Babel in Japan on HD DVD, Blu-ray and DVD, November 2nd 2007.
http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/docs/20070730/gaga.htm
It contains lossless audio track (DTS-HD MA 5.1) as well as 2 DD+ 5.1 tracks (original and Japanese dub). Apparently only Japanese subtitles though.
Hopefully they'll release more stuff in the future as well on HD DVD. To my knowledge this is their very first foray into HD DVD and Blu-ray releasing. They have some interesting films in their catalogue.

DTS HD MA, can HD DVD players decode this yet?
At least the link says the Blu-Ray version has both DTS HD MA & Linear PCM.

From my experience the PS3 audio output level is higher than any of the HD DVD players.
Though there may NOT be any great difference in the sound quality between the HD sound formats but the base volume output of the LPCM is always greater than any TrueHD / DD+ / DTS-HD MA.
The PS3 also features volume control which is very much needed for Tosh owners who are using their TV for audio.

Sin City is on there. That's another BD exclusive I'd import. Especially since Sin City 2 will probably be HD DVD exlusive.

Well any DTS decoder can take the DTS lossy from the MA and decode at 1.5 Mbps. There's no players that can even pass the bitstream yet for DTS-HD MA. Sammy and Denon have announced coming players though which can decode.

And a little film called Silence of the Lambs. ;)
Man....with no PAL speed-up, I could end up importing even more than I did on SD DVD.

Do you know for a fact that the Samsung 2400 will decode DTS-HD MA internally and output out of the 5.1 or 7.1 analog outs? On the Samsung 2400 thread in the Blu Ray Player forum some people speculated but no one could say for sure. Have you heard elsewhere or is this just a speculation?
Thanks,
Mike
