Had no idea, but the Hollywood Video near me is apparently carrying both formats for rental. BD has about 3 shelves and HD DVD has 2. Slim pickin's would be the correct phrase, for both formats. Surprisingly they did have Shooter out a day early, so I grabbed it for a rent. My first HD DVD rental. :p

First thing I was asked was, "do you want the high definition version?"

Yes sir! Thank you.

Funny they are using regular sized DVD cases though, despite using the correct HD DVD insert.

And yes the disc has some minor blemishes on it already! And technically this disc has not been released yet... :( Hopefully the disc plays through without issue.

BTW, Shooter has 7 deleted scenes, a featurette, the trailer, and a making of special all in HD. All the special features are in HD!
