FINALLY decided to go with Panny...think I need at least a 58" display and was disappointed that only the 1080p version (at close to $5k) is the only one available on the Panny website?? (I have become convinced that a 768P display that allows 1080p sources like Blu-ray would be fine for that size display and would therefore get a great value!!!). It appears only a 50" Panny plasma is available at the 768 resolution? Is that true??? Did I miss the boat???

It seems that Panasonic and Pioneer collaborated and decided that we do not deserve a +50" 768P display. Too bad. I would be the first in line for a 6080.

Can still get a Pio 6070 for about $1K more than a Panny 58PX60U...both at "great" prices...which would you (or anyone) pick?? Am leaning to the 6070....

The 6070 is a nice set but from what I have read here the 80 series is a big improvement. Forgot about the Panny UK series.

The 6070 is a good purchase. Again color saturation are eye popping, however, if you want to save I would consider the 58PX60U. Either unit is fantastic and will exceed your expectations...

You can still find the Panny 58"PX60U or 600U, don't listen to thoses that don't know what they are talking about, they are both 768p pannels (last years models) being closed out for great prices. ;)

I see plenty of places advertising the 58PX600U but I do not think there are "ANY" left in the US.

I agree with CP. Can find 60U many places but no 600U.

The TH58PX75 will be available in Canada, it's just not out in stores yet. Have you guys in the US checked in with your local dealers to see if they have the TH58PX75 on their future list??
