Well I just got myself a Vizio 37 inch HDTV. I love it, but, I am needing a better sound option than the stock speakers. It's a budget TV, and I am in an apartment -- so I am looking at absolute minimal price and maximum function for said dollar. I've never had a "sound system", and am leery of a 5.1 system mainly because I'm hesitant about mounting rear speakers and having to run wires to them. I just don't think I'd be able to make it look very good. My budget is around 300$ US and I'm willing to look at refurbished units. I'm mainly looking for an 'all in one" system, with a receiver, cables, the works all in one shot. If I can get significantly better quality and price piece by piece, that is fine as well. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very grateful. Thanks again!

edit -- Uses will be general TV watching, a lot of movies, some gaming once my wife buys me that Xbox 360 she promised me. Room isn't very big, maybe 15x10.

Wait till these speakers go on sale for $49 bucks. They go one sale all the time so keep checking.
