OK so I have played the DEMO of motoGP 07 and the first race I tried was at Laguna Seca and I have raced this track many times in Forza 2 and REAL LIFE 9I drive a 92 GT2 911 race car and have driven this track countless times

the corkscrew as it is called on turn 8 and 8A is way off in motoGP 07 it is correct in Forza 2 and many other racing games but in motoGP 07 the corkscrew is almost flat or level this is not the case it is a huge uphill into a blind left turn into a quick right right hand down hill - let me tell you many rookie drivers crash or spin out here pros also if we ant carefull

in motoGP 07 it is a joke easy as hell all be it I have only riden around the track on a bike 5 laps and it was a street bike but racing bikes arent that far off but still it shouldnt look like this at all

does anyone know if this game is sosposta be a "race sim" and have accurate representation of the real track

From what I've read the game is supposed to be more accessible than past MotoGP games with a friendlier driving model that doesn't penalize you as much if you don't use the trigger brakes correctly.

As for the Laguna Seca track, a lot of games have a hard time properly mapping the elevation changes in racetracks and I think that was the problem with the demo. It looks better during replays, but in actual gameplay it does seem and feel somewhat flat.

I dunno. I thought they would have polished the 07 edition somewhat, but I'm still disappointed by the inconsistent framerate (speicfically when going into turns) and the overly bright 'cartoon' like colors of the actual motorcycle models...watch them in replay mode and they don't quite mesh well with the track--they look pasted on.
